A member of staff at the upmarket Gleneagles hotel in Perthshire has tested positive for coronavirus.
The news comes just days after Tyson Fury and his brother Tommy travelled to the plush hotel with a family friend from Edinburgh.
Bosses at the golf resort confirmed the news last night.
They claim the employee has had to interaction with hotel guests and that fellow colleagues in contact with the person are not at home self isolating.
The hotel remains open as normal.
A Gleneagles spokesperson said: “This was an isolated case affecting an administrative member of our team who has no interaction with guests.
“All those colleagues who had contact with the individual were notified through NHS Scotland’s Test and Protect programme and are now self-isolating in line with government guidance.
“We will continue to monitor the situation carefully.
“The safety of everyone who comes to Gleneagles is our top priority.”
Daily coronavirus cases in Scotland have hit a four-month high, the latest Scottish Government figures show.
A total of 221 people have tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours - the highest daily figure since May 8.
Since the start of the pandemic, 22,435 people have been infected with Covid-19 in Scotland and 2,499 have died with the virus.
Restrictions on people meeting indoors in Lanarkshire were announced on Friday amid a rise in cases in that health board area.
It came after lockdown restrictions in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire were continued for a further week on Monday, having first been introduced on September 1.
