Glenda Gilson had an unbeelievable day after 20,000 bees built a nest in the gutter of her Dublin home.
The TV star said that she couldn't even open her front door because the bees had “built one hell of a nest” in her gutter.
Local beekeeper Steve from Swarms.ie came to the rescue and removed the hive to a safe location, RSVP Live reports.
After asking her followers for advice, Glenda said: "Thanks for all the wasp advice.
"I called a local beekeeper this morning but he never showed up and now the wasps are building one hell of a nest.
"Hopefully he shows up tomorrow and gets rid of them safely so I can start using my front door again."
It seems the hive was so large beekeeper Steve had to remove a large part of her roof in order to remove the bees safely.
After the long day of removal, the Virgin Media presenter said there ended up being 20,000 bees removed from her home.
Glenda recently celebrated her 40th birthday at home with her husband Rob McNaughton and their two adorable sons, Bobby and Danny.
Back in April the TV favourite was all smiles for the camera as she told social media followers: "And just like that I turned 40!
"I actually can’t believe it, but I have to say the last four decades have been pretty damn great. I bloody love life & love laughing and that’s all thanks to the wonderful people I’ve had such craic with over the years.
