Glenalina Gardens shooting being investigated by police

Police are investigating a shooting incident in West Belfast tonight.

The PSNI says it “received a report around 8.15pm that several shots had been fired through the front door of a house” in the Glenalina Gardens area.

They say there have been no reports of any injuries at this stage.

A spokesman added: “Detectives are investigating and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity to contact them at Musgrave.”

An alleyway to rear of the house has been sealed as officers investigate the incident.

They added that people can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
