Glen Kamara 'watched' by Arsenal as Rangers star targeted for London return

Arsenal are scouting Glen Kamara in a development that could see the 24-year-old return to North London, according to reports.

The Finn started his career at the Gunners, making his solitary first team appearance against Sheffield Wednesday in late 2015.

His release two years later saw him make an unlikely move to Dundee where he soon caught the attention of Rangers.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Mikel Arteta's side have sent scouts to watch the ball-playing midfielder in action during his last six games.

Steven Gerrard willl be loath to see the player depart after he has established himself as a key element of his rejuvenated side.

The Scouser has remarked on his amazement at being able to secure the player for a paltry fee of £50,000 from Dundee and it is certain that Rangers will want to drive a much tougher bargain should the Premier League side firm-up their interest.

Kamara has also become a regular in the Finland side that qualified for Euro 2020 for the first time in the country's history and has amassed 14 caps.
