Glen Kamara Rangers transfer mystery as French club give major clue with star's agent going abroad

There's plenty of doubt and confusion surrounding Glen Kamara this deadline day as Rangers look to keep the Finnish midfielder.

The 50k purchase from Dundee has been a major transfer success story since arriving at Ibrox but various reports have sparked doubt over what his situation is. It has been claimed that Ligue 1 club Stade de Reims have failed in a bid to lure him, but domestic competitors Nice are also interested.

They have gone as far as creating an official player profile on their website for Kamara in a clue over their hopes on landing the battler. It was reported earlier in the day that he had missed training with representatives reported as being in France for talks over a move, but the notion of his absence was shut down by Sky Sports, who said that the player is currently set to stay in Govan. But doubt is rife.

Rangers will be desperate to keep a hold of him but so many conflicting reports will do the thought in some fans' mind of losing him no good.

Nikola Katic has already walked through the exit door at Auchenhowie this week, signing for Swiss champions FC Zurich.

Stephen Kelly could also depart the club before tonight's deadline and Rangers aren't anticipating any last-minute swoops.
