Glen Jennings managed security for Michael Jackson, and that's just the start of this story ...

Listen to the latest episode of Toohey's News: The Podcast on Apple, Google, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Newcastle businessman Glen Jennings has lived more lives than most could ever imagine.

Perhaps best known for his part in helping a young Kostya Tszyu fight his way to a career record of 31 wins and only two losses as he became the undisputed light welterweight champion of the world, his time blazing the path for the Russian superstar boxer is only one of countless stories he could tell.

Now managing Kostya's sons, Tim Tszyu and Nikita Tszyu, in their father's sport, Jennings joins Toohey's News podcast host Barry Toohey to look back on a career spent among some of the world's most famous names.

From managing the antics of Michael Jackson on tour, to his friendship with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, to touring with the Rolling Stones - Jennings has seen it all from a vantage point beyond reckoning for most.

Jennings joins Barry Toohey on the eve of the announcement that Nikita Tszyu will fight alongside Paul Gallen at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on May 11.

The Newcastle Herald revealed last month Nikita Tszyu, the younger brother of Tim and son of Kosta, would be part of the event, but No Limit Boxing announced the card's date, along with Gallen's inclusion, at a Sydney fight night it held on Wednesday night.
