Glen Hansard sings with busker on Grafton Street in Dublin

There are some moments when you wonder whether it's all a bit of a dream.

That must have been the feeling young busker Padraig Cahill had when he was singing on Grafton Street in Dublin.

Among the crowd gathering to listen was a familiar face – a certain Glen Hansard.

And the Falling Slowly singer, who won an Oscar for the hit in 2007, was generous enough to get involved and make the young Wicklow man's dreams come true.

 

It's not the first time Hansard has got involved in a bit of busking. This 2017 occasion saw him and Danny O'Reilly of The Coronas get a Dublin pub dancing:
