'Glee's' Dianna Agron puts her charming Hollywood Hills home up for sale

April 02--Dianna Agron is hoping her home in Hollywood Hills hits the right note with a buyer. The actress-singer-dancer of "Glee" fame is asking $1.595 million for the turreted French Normandy-style compound that she's called home for more than three years.

Set behind gates and privacy hedges, the renovated residence of 2,494 square feet mixes arresting 1920s detail with a range of contemporary updates.

Among details of note is an updated kitchen that keeps things light and bright with soft tones accented by a marble backsplash and countertops. A grand living room harks back to a bygone era with handsome barrel-rolled ceilings and an oversized fireplace, and lavish wall treatments keep the eyes moving in the bedrooms.

In the master bedroom, black-painted doors offer a visual contrast to the white-walled space, which includes a master bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub. A formal dining room, an office and another pair of bedrooms complete the floor plan.

Across from the main house, a raised patio provides space for entertaining with a swimming pool and outdoor living and dining areas. A separate guesthouse with a private deck completes the setting.

Agron, 29, has appeared in such television series as "CSI: NY," "Veronica Mars" and "Heroes." Among her film credits is "I Am Number Four" (2011) and "Zipper" (2015).

She bought the house in late 2012 for $1.05 million.
