Glasgow's food scene has came on leaps and bounds in the last few years, with places likes Finnieston and the southside home to uber cool, trendy restaurants and hangouts.
And yet despite Glaswegians having developed a taste for the finer things in life, it seems that we are still a bunch of neanderthals at heart when it comes to our bizarre food loves.
A fact that's been highlighted by Glasgow DJ Ciar McKinley's thread from a Facebook post he put out on what's "maddest sh*t that you've eaten/known someone to eat on a Roll".
The thread was started by Ciar, who DJ's in Bar Soba, The Sanctuary, Tingle and The Garage among other spots, after he had a discussion with a pal about roll fillings.
The discussion, which Ciar says "blew his mind", saw him discover that folk he knew eat such staples as a roll & mince, roll & tomato/mayo pasta, roll & pizza, roll & fish, roll & scotch pie and, no joke, a roll and Mars bar with butter.
It led to more folk chipping in on what they eat or have eaten on their rolls, leading Ciar to say that people in Glasgow are "using rolls as vessels for all sorts of carry on".
