Glaswegians wanted for next series of Come Dine With Me to show off 'home cooking skills'

Glaswegians are wanted for the next series of Come Dine With Me with locals being urged to show off their hosting skills as well as their skills in the kitchen.

Taking to Facebook, the official Come Dine With Me page said they were looking for Glasgow locals.

They wrote: "Attention Glasgow locals! Do you think you are an amazing dinner party host? Want to show off your home cooking skills? It's time to get applying for COME DINE WITH ME GLASGOW."

The last series of the cooking show was a hit. Glasgow's Dazza took part a few years back in the 2021 series coming in fifth place. And safe to say despite not taking home the crown, he was a hit with people keen for a cook book from him.

Upon hearing the news of the upcoming television series however, he commented on their Facebook post asking if he could take part for a second time.

Come Dine With Me - how to apply to series 21

What is the show about? According to the programme description: "A group of five contestants compete to host the best dinner party. At the end of each dinner party, each guest rates the party on a scale of one to ten inclusive.

"At the end of the last party, the host of that party gets the voting results, which they read to the other competitors. The competitor with the highest score wins £1,000. In the event of a tie, the £1,000 is split between the winning contestants."

Come Dine With Me will soon film series 21. (Come Dine With Me/Facebook)
