Glaswegians offered chance to work behind-the-scenes on Outlander

Glaswegians are being offered the chance to work behind-the-scenes on the production of the new season of Outlander.

The team behind the popular fantasy drama are recruiting up to 16 trainees across various departments to train on Outlander Season 6, with the positions starting in December.

Those who are successful will be given the chance to work on Scotland's biggest television production and learn from some of the finest technicians working in the film and television industry.

Applications are invited for Scottish-based candidates (with the production base in Cumbernauld), and applicants must be 18 of over with a full clean driving licence as well as have a basic understanding of the film and television industry - preferably with relevant work experience.

The deadline for applications is 10am on Monday, November 23 and you can apply HERE

As well as the trainee positions, production staff will also be running “Outlander Tasters” which will provide paid work placements aimed at giving people their first break in the industry.

The 'tasters' are aimed at creating opportunities for people who might not have previously thought about a career in TV and/or film, whether because of a lack of experience, opportunity or resources.
