Glaswegian posts dog 'jobby' to Uber Eats thief who hacked her account for £40 takeaway

A raging Glaswegian got the ultimate revenge on a thief who used her money to by an online feast - sending him a box of dog poo.

Emma Crombie posted the smelly surprise to the scammer after her Uber Eats account was hacked and the £40 KFC dinner was sent to an address in Birmingham.

The 35-year-old's cash was refunded to her account by the home delivery service, but she was so outraged that person responsible appeared to go unpunished, she took matters into her own hands, the Daily Record reports.

The 'jobby' was hidden inside a box and packaged with a note that said: "Hope you enjoyed the Uber Eats I treated you to."

Emma sent it by special delivery to the address the food was delivered to, then took to social media to share her revenge plot.

She explained: "OK so after the scumbag who stole my card details from Uber eats and treated themselves to a feast, this was their karma, dug s**** in a box. Yes it's disgusting and yes it cost me £14 special next day delivery. Imagine getting woke up at 9:01 on a Saturday morning to sign for a jobby."

Emma urged others to check their accounts to ensure they haven't been scammed too.

She added: "It was the Uber Eats app that was somehow hacked and card details fraudulently taken from people's accounts, after going onto their Facebook page I discovered its happened to numerous people over the last week or so..

"I woke up Thursday morning to an email from Uber Eats thanking me for my order of £40.06 which was delivered to an address in Birmingham 300 miles away.

"Last night I received an email from someone at Uber Eats to clarify my account was hacked and they would refund in three to five days.

"I've warned most people I know who use Uber Eats to keep an eye on their bank accounts incase they end up getting hacked like myself.

"I have however karma works in mysterious ways, it was worth the giggle even if I don't get the money back."

The Record contacted Uber UK for comment.
