Glaswegian leaves handwritten note asking woman to get in touch after chance meeting on Kelvin Walkway

We might be living in a time of social distancing but that isn't stopping one Glaswegian from making new friends.

The brave local is so keen to get in touch with a woman named Jade, who they met in the West End, that they've left a note and their number on a public path.

The handwritten note, sealed in a polly pocket, has been left on the Kelvin Walkway for the public (and hopefully intended recipient) to see.

The letter addressed to Jade was spotted on the walkway on Saturday afternoon.

It reads: "I had a nice time on Tuesday afternoon and I wanted to chat more but my friend was in a rush and then I forgot to ask for your number to stay in contact.

"You've seemed like a very down to earth person with nice energy!

"I always like to try stay connected with genuine people, especially if they're into walking.

"I would like to go for a walk together sometimes or just hangout at 420."

The author has signed off the note with "peace and unity" and has included their number for Jade to get in touch.

We at Glasgow Live love a happy ending and would love to see the pair reunited - even if it is at a safe two metre distance.
