Glastonbury legend Alex Mann who rapped with Dave performs for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain

Glastonbury legend Alex Mann has described the moment he "slayed" the festival on Good Morning Britain.

The 15-year-old appeared on stage with rapper Dave at the weekend and instantly became an internet sensation.

The teenager from Wells was wearing a PSG shirt and was picked from the crowd to sing Dave's hit Thiago Silva, Liverpool Echo reports.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on the ITV show, he said: "I was on my mate Sam's shoulders and I really wanted to sing with Dave.

"I saw him in Bristol and he brought someone up on stage then, so I thought he might do it again.

"But I was really nervous when I got up there, but Dave said he'd help me."

Since his appearance on the show, Alex's Instagram and Twitter following has gone through the roof. He's also been contacted by Boohoo for a modelling job and is set to perform at venues.

Alex then performed some of the rap live on the show - as Piers dad danced along.

Piers was full of praise for Alex and said: "You took your chance and you slayed Glastonbury - it's a brilliant thing - more young people should be doing that, taking their chances and slaying it.
