Glastonbury Festivalgoer dies after emergency services attend incident

Police have confirmed a festivalgoer at Glastonbury has died. Avon and Somerset Police said officers received reports of a "medical incident" earlier this morning (June 25).

The incident happened at around 4am at the Old Railway Line in Worthy Farm hours after Guns N' Roses finished their headline set on the Pyramid Stage. Despite the best efforts of emergency service officers, police confirmed the man died at the scene.

The next of kin of the man, who was in his 40s, have been informed, a statement from the force added. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
