Glastonbury Festival weather: Final day set to be cooler following Saturday's scorcher

Revellers fought it out for small patches of shade yesterday as temperatures climbed to 31C.

Punters blasted organisers as they were forced to queue for more than an hour for water. Showers were also turned off as the event ran low on water.

The temperature was just shy of the hottest ever recorded at the music festival which was 31.2C in 2017.

But today (June 30) should be a lot cooler with the mercury hovering around 21C - around 10C degrees lower than Saturday.

Forecasters are still promising wall to wall sunshine however, with little chance of rain arriving for the final day of Glastonbury.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "After a cloudier start it will be a dry day, with sunny spells developing. Feeling fresher than of late, but still pleasantly warm in the sunshine."
