Glastonbury Festival secure two huge 'secret' acts to surprise revellers this weekend

Glastonbury Festival-goers will be in in store for two big surprises this weekend as two iconic musicians are set to take to the stage for secret performances.

The full line-up for Glastonbury was released last month but it's not been revealed there will be two further legendary acts performing across the weekend.

Britpop band Pulp will take to the stage after announcing they would be reuniting earlier this year, according to reports.

They will play an hour-long set on the Woodsies stage, previously known as the John Peel stage, on Saturday at 6pm.

Pulp last made their appearance at Worthy Farm 13 years ago and haven't performed together in a decade.

Irish musician Hozier will also play a surprise set on the same stage on Friday at 7.30pm.

The Grammy-nominated artist, who is currently touring with his latest album Unreal Unearth, performed at Glastonbury Festival once before in 2019.

"Every year Glastonbury likes to keep fans on their toes and this year is no different," a source told The Sun.

'Both Pulp and Hozier have signed up to play the festival ages ago but bosses decided to keep their names under wraps. Neither have played the farm for a while so no doubt their sets will be extra-special."

Meanwhile, fans have predicted Foo Fighters will take to the stage after the band and the festival shared a series of cryptic clues.

The pseudonym The Churnups appeared on the official line-up and are billed to perform on the Pyramid Stage before Royal Blood on Friday at 6.15pm.

Foo Fighters posted a cryptic handwritten messaged on their Twitter account which convinced fans they are set to join Worthy Farm.

The note read: "Hey. It’s been a while… Now that we’ve returned from our first run of shows, I felt compelled to reach out and thank you all for being there for us.

"Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, it makes me scream louder.

"When I see your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it brings me joy. But, I see you… and it feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together. Because we’ve always done this together. Time and time again. See you soon, David."
