Glastonbury Festival 2020: How to get tickets to next year's event

Sadly Glastonbury Festival is over for this year.

If you weren't there you missed out on Stormzy's incredible headline set . The 25 year-old UK Grime artist made history with his show-stopping performance on the Pyramid Stage.

The 2019 event also saw a host of pop princesses take to the stage with performances from Kylie, Janet Jackson and Miley Cyrus to name a few.

The Killers also put on an impressive show, bringing out The Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr during their Saturday evening set.

If all that has given you serious FOMO about next year's event don't worry - we have the lowdown on everything you need to know about getting tickets.

Next year will be the festival's fiftieth birthday, so we're sure there's going to be one hell of a party at Worthy Farm - just make sure you're there.

When do Glastonbury Festival 2020 tickets go on sale?

Glasto 2020 tickets official go on sale during the first weekend in October, and any prospective attendees have until shortly before to register for tickets by visiting: glastonbury.seetickets.com/Registration/Register .

When tickets go on sale head to glastonbury.seetickets.com at 9am sharp with your registration number, and registered postcode for each person you're buying a ticket for (they must be aged 13 or older).

How much do tickets cost?

Each person can buy up to four tickets per transaction - each ticket costs £248 plus a £5 booking fee per person (these are 2019 prices, this could change).

You'll need to have a UK-registered debit or credit card to carry out the transaction - if you're buying tickets from outside of the UK, you must use a credit card with a non-UK billing address.

If you weren't able to get a valid registration in the earlier round, unfortunately you won't be able to buy resale tickets.

Best of luck!
