Glastonbury Festival 2019: The best pictures from Red Arrows flyover

The Red Arrows made a surprise flyover at Glastonbury festival earlier today (June 29).

Hungover revellers got somewhat of a rude awakening as the jets roared over the site during the morning.

One person commented on Twitter: When you're sat at #glastonburyfestival2019, feeling broken, hot and tired, and the #RedArrows drop by.

"Appreciate it @RAFRed10 but any chance you could use crop sprayers & water next time."

Another added: "Red Arrows flyover to start #Glastonbury2019 Saturday isn’t the worst wake up I’ve ever had really!"

The flyover was part of celebrations for Armed Forces Day and two displays will be happening in the south of England.

The first will take place today in Plymouth Hoe, Devon, and the second tomorrow in Folkestone, Kent.

We've compiled some of the best photos of the Red Arrows flyover in a Twitter collection so check that out below.
