Glastonbury Festival 2019 10 day weather forecast

The UK has had more than its fair share of rain over the past few weeks, which will undoubtedly be causing panic for Glastonbury Festival ticket holders, with just one week to go.

The iconic festival returns this year from June 26 - 30, after a much-needed break for the site and organisers, dubbed a "fallow year".

With a host of food and shopping options, an Extinction Procession, the return of the Greenpeace Field and a line-up that includes Stormzy, Liam Gallagher, Janet Jackson, Kylie and The Proclaimers to name a few, there's plenty of entertainment and distractions to keep crowds delighted no matter what the weather.

But, the estimated 135,000 people taking to Worthy Farm next week have been offered some hope from the Met Office.

Its latest update said: "As we head into late June there are signs that high pressure may become more dominant, bringing a chance of settled and warm weather with temperatures mostly near normal."

According to BBC Weather, however, Glasto punters should be prepared for a bit of a mixed bag.

For the opening day, it points to "thundery showers and a moderate breeze".

Day two should be drier, with "light clouds and a moderate breeze" set to descend on the Thursday and continue until Saturday, where festival goers should expect some light rain.

For the final day of the largest greenfield festival in the world, the rain is predicted to have gone, making way for light clouds and a moderate breeze.
