If the thought of spending four nights sleeping in a tent and living on cereal bars is too much to bear at this stage of the summer festival season, news of impending Glastonbury 2016 tickets sales might just feel a bit too soon.
Next month, the build up to the Worthy Farm extravaganza begins, however. Continuing the festival’s dedication to urging its ticket holders to take green travel to the event, 15,000 coach and ticket packages will be sold in advance of the general sale, and are available from 7pm on Thursday, 1 October. After this, standard weekend tickets will go on sale on 4 October at 9am – both types of ticket will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com. You can book up to six tickets per transaction, and festivalgoers will be able to book a ticket by paying a deposit, with the full balance due in spring 2016.
If you’re keen to attend next year’s event, you’ll need to sort out your advanced registration. There are more details, including important information for those with a registration submitted prior to 2010, on the Glastonbury website.
