Glastonbury 2025 is upon us, bringing together hundreds of thousands of revellers across a sunny weekend and some massive headliners, including Neil Young, Doechii and The Prodigy.
While there are over 3,000 acts to explore in the upcoming days at the Worthy Farm festival, Glastonbury is also so much more. In fact, it’s so big that it’s not unusual to see people using bicycles to get around the vast festival grounds - and there’s certainly never a dull moment.
So what if you’re not there for the music? Luckily, you don’t need to love the headliners to have an incredible Glastonbury experience.
While there are plenty of things to do, here is our pick of some of the other standout activities, venues and spaces that offer something a little different to the music.

Get naked
There is nothing more liberating and empowering than heading to the Lost Horizon Nomadic Spa, which will be near the top of the public Tipi Field on the middle track throughout the festival.
Not only can guests come and enjoy a sauna and slump into a hammock, but it’s also a clothing-optional space, meaning people can be as clothed or naked as they like.
According to the event organisers: “Hire a fresh clean towel, grab a home-made natural soap, secure your valuables, charge your phone with solar power and you can even book a massage, all available at our reception tent.”
Staff are also on hand to make sure people feel comfortable during their time there, and it’s seen as a safe space for people to unwind.
Get married (sort of)
Heading to Glasto with a significant other? Why not make the ultimate declaration of love by signing up for a symbolic wedding ritual? Although not legally binding, this type of wedding ritual is considered one of the world's oldest traditions.
An energy healer called Glenda will offer ‘handfasting’ ceremonies during Glastonbury 2025, a pagan wedding ritual where couples have their hands bound together.
Taking place on the Green Field, couples can pre-book once they’ve arrived at the festival, and need to make sure their ribbons are more than 1.5m long.
“These simple Handtyings were extremely well received by couples, allowing more couples the opportunity to be Handfast. Couples seeking a Handfasting in 2025 should visit Glenda once at the festival, to reserve a time and day during the festival for their Handfasting,” said Cloud9Ceremonies.
Get educated
Each year, Glastonbury’s Speakers Forum brings together a number of panellists, activists and speakers for discussions and presentations throughout the festival.
Located at the Green Futures Field, this year there’s lots to offer concerning politics, democracy, protest and resistance. You’ll hear from people like the journalist Owen Jones as well as the deputy leader of the Green Party, Zack Polanski.
So why not take a break from the music and go get inspired by tuning in to one of the countless talks and discussions happening throughout the festival?
Get entertained
There are actually so many circus and acrobatics shows that you can check out throughout the festival, including a Theatre & Circus show on the Pyramid State on Wednesday night, followed by fireworks.
Elsewhere, the Theatre & Circus organisers have created a stellar lineup of entertainment that Glasto guests can enjoy throughout the weekend, including a Taskmaster stage experience.
“Some of the old favourites have been deservedly welcomed back, as well as a host of original and exciting performance artists from around the world who are making their Glastonbury debut,” organisers said.
“Be sure to come over and visit us on the east side of the site and soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the spectacle and participate in the myriad of mayhem, mirth and magic that is Theatre and Circus. You won’t be disappointed.”
Get customised
The popular reusable bottle company Chilly’s has had pop-ups at Glastonbury for the last few years, and each time they bring something fun for bottle users.
Not only can people top up on ice-cold UV-filtered water at Chilly’s tents, but they can also head to the “tattoo shop” and get their drinks bottles engraved with a number of funky Glasto-inspired flashes.
Confirming their arrival on social media, Chilly’s said: “We’ve officially touched down at Glastonbury and we’re getting everything set up. We’ve got two stands this year and can’t wait to see you from Wednesday when the gates open. You’ll find us all weekend with bottles in hand and refills at the ready.”
Get healed
Glasto’s healing field is a popular escape for those at the festival, known to offer a wealth of relaxing and holistic experiences for people who want to tone it down after a spot of heavy partying.
There’s tai chi, martial arts, yoga, massages, reiki, osteopathy, as well as countless workshops and mind-body experiences.
According to Glasto’s website: “ Treat yourself to a session with one of many skilled therapists, who are working for donations, or simply enjoy the serenity of being in a healing atmosphere.”
