Glastonbury 2023 confirms first full stage line-up of big names for festival

Glastonbury 2023 is just three months away and the festival has started to drip feed the artist announcements for this year. If you were one of the lucky people to score a ticket, you'll no doubt already be planning on who to see this June.

Organisers have already announced around 55 acts set to play across its stages, of which there are more than 100 set up on Worthy Farm in the Somerset hills. The Pyramid headliners were confirmed as Arctic Monkeys, Guns and Roses and Elton John, who was already announced - a men-led line-up that was met with criticism by those questioning the lack of women artists.

The first stage at Glastonbury Festival to confirm its full line-up of 24 acts is West Holts featuring artists from all over the world. The stage is known for its brilliant amalgamation of sounds and rhythms - and is one of the biggest stages on site - home to the most lauded names in jazz, electronica, reggae, R&B, rap and beyond.

West Holts' top names for 2023 include 'Milkshake' popstar Kelis, hip hop artist Loyle Carner and drum and bass band Rudimental. Joining them is the Scottish three-piece Young Fathers, singer-songwriter Mahalia and jazz quintet Ezra Collective.

Other big names include Joey Bada$$, Candi Station, Barrington Levy, Babriels, Jacob Collier, The Hu, Louis Cole, Sudan Archives, ADG7, Speakers Corner Quartet, Black Country New Road, Yaya Bey, Kanda Bongo Man, Beth Orton, Star Feminine Band, Say She She and Skinny Pelembe.

Organisers also released a new poster for Glastonbury Festival with new additions and some artists in different positions, including US singer Lana Del Rey, who was moved to the second row. The initial poster featured the headliners at the top with the rest of the line up listed in alphabetical order.

Rey had previously criticised the festival on her Instagram page for her placement on the initial poster despite being confirmed as a headliner for the Other Stage, the second biggest stage after Pyramid. Also appearing higher up the new poster included Lil Nas X, Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Wizkid while the rest of the acts remain in alphabetical order.

Glastonbury Festival is June 21-25 at Worthy Farm, Pilton
