Glastonbury 2022 TV guide: How to watch Billie Eilish and Sam Fender and full weekend schedule

Glastonbury is back, in person for the first time since 2019.

While thousands of festival-goers will flock to Somerset to see their favourite performers live, thousands of others will avoid the crowds and the camping and will instead tune in to the BBC to see the festival’s highlights.

If you’re in the latter group, find out below the complete TV schedule for Glastonbury 2022.

Glastonbury’s Friday TV Schedule

9pm-10pm

BBC Two will broadcast Glastonbury from 9pm on Friday, June 24.

Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, and Clara Amfo will introduce the headliners, which include Wet Leg, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Wolf Alice and TLC.

9.30pm-10.30pm

BBC Four will broadcast highlights from Arlo Parks on the Park Stage and Idles on the Other Stage.

10pm-2am

BBC Two will broadcast Billie Eilish’s Glastonbury performance. Aged 20, Eilish is the youngest solo artist to ever headline the Pyramid Stage. She will be introduced by Clara Amfo at Worthy Farm.

10.30pm-12am

BBC Three will broadcast award-winning rapper and songwriter Little Simz’s performance.

Glastonbury’s Saturday TV Schedule

12am-1am

BBC Three will broadcast the highlights from Sam Fender’s Pyramid Stage performance and Blossoms’ Other Stage performance at 12am on Saturday morning.

5pm-7pm

Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, Clara Amfo, and Jack Saunders will present the Saturday afternoon performance by Joy Crookes, Self Esteem and Skunk Anansie, on BBC Two.

7pm-8pm

BBC Four will broadcast Brit Award winner Celeste’s performance on the West Holts Stage.

7pm-8pm

BBC One will broadcast Olivia Rodrigo’s set on the Other Stage, introduced by Clara Amfo.

8pm-9.30pm

BBC Three will broadcast performances from Holly Humberstone and Glass Animals, presented by Clara Amfo and Jack Saunders.

8pm–9pm

BBC Two will broadcast Saturday evening at Glastonbury, with performances from Haim and Leon Bridgers, presented by Clara Amfo and Jack Saunders.

9pm-10.30pm

BBC Two will broadcast Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ set from the Pyramid Stage, introduced by Jo Whiley.

9.30pm-10.30pm

BBC Three will broadcast performances from AJ Tracey and Pa Salieu, introduced by Clara Amfo and Remi Burgz.

10.30pm-12.30am

Sir Paul McCartney’s headline performance will be broadcast on BBC One, introduce by Jo Whiley.

10.30pm-11.30pm

Yungblud and Burna Boy’s performances will be broadcast on BBC Three, presented by Clara Amfo.

11.30pm-12.30am

Megan Thee Stallion’s headline performance will be introduced by Clara Amfo and broadcast on BBC Three.

Glastonbury’s Sunday TV Schedule

12.30am-2am

BBC Two will broadcast highlights from Saturday evening’s headlines, including Jessie Ware, Jamie T, and Róisín Murphy, introduced by Lauren Laverne and Clara Amfo.

5pm-6.45pm

BBC Two will broadcast music from Lianne La Havas, Herbie Hancock, Declan McKenna, Nubya Garcia, and Fontaines D.C. presented by Clara Amfo and Lauren Laverne.

6.45pm-8pm

Lauren Laverne and Clara Amfo will introduce Motown icon Diana Ross’ performance during the famous Glastonbury teatime legend’s slot, which will be broadcast on BBC One.

7pm-8pm

BBC Three will broadcast Declan McKenna and Koffee’s performances, introduced by Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo.

8pm-9pm

BBC Four will broadcast performances by jazz legend Herbie Hancock on the Pyramid Stage, and American country singer Kacey Musgraves’ performances on the Other Stage.

8pm-9.30pm

BBC Two will broadcast Sunday evening’s performances from Lorde, Years & Years and Elbow.

9pm-10pm

Performances from “‘Africa’s premier diva” Angélique Kidjo and JARV IS…,the rock band led by Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, will be broadcast on BBC Four.

9.30pm-12am

BBC Two will broadcast Kendrick Lamar’s headline performance, plus highlights from Bicep, Charli XCX, and Courtney Barnett.

10pm-11.30pm

BBC Four will broadcast the headline performance on the Other Stage by the Pet Shop Boys, introduced by Jo Whiley.

11.05pm-1.05am

The Glastonbury highlights will be broadcast on BBC Two, including performances by Sir Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, Sam Fender, Olivia Rodrigo, Years & Years, and Little Simz.
