Glastonbury ballot tickets 2020: Ballot launches offering fans second chance to get tickets

All hope is not lost for the thousands of festival fans left disgruntled after missing out on Glastonbury tickets last weekend.

Organisers have introduced a new ballot, offering the chance for music lovers to buy one of 50 remaining pairs of tickets.

The ballot is open to anyone with a current valid registration, who was unsuccessful in securing tickets in the public sales on Thursday and Sunday. They have until 5pm on October 31 to enter up to two registrations. The ballot can be entered here.

The festival also states that “duplicate entries or registrations with existing ticket bookings will be excluded."

Glastonbury sold out within minutes last weekend, and while there’ll be a ticket resale in April, the ballot could be another option for fans seeking tickets.

The festival has launched the ballot to mark its 50th anniversary, with the festival due to take place in June.

Last year’s festival has headlined by Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure, with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Tame Impala, Christine and the Queens and The Chemical Brothers also performing.
