Glastonbury 2019: What to do if 'useless' festival app isn't working for you

The Glastonbury app is normally a must-have for any festival geor.

It shows you the full lineup in a handy format and allows you to star acts you want to see so you can create your own list.

The thing is, many people aren't happy with how it's working.

Festival-goers have complained you can't change between the days on the line-up, making one of the main functions of the app unusuable.

I found a hack for this which worked for me, you have to change from the 'full schedule' section, to the 'my lineup section', and then you can go switch the days and go back to the full lineup.

Just a quick look at social media will show you dozens of people complaining to EE, who host the app.

Rob Brown tweeted: The Glastonbury Festival app from EE this year has a limited number of functions which all have limited functionality. Only being able to see Friday’s line-up on Sunday for example, has its limitations.

Nick Russell also complained: "Possibly the worst Glastonbury app ever, incredibly slow, hard to even change days, map is next to useless. Presume released without testing."

EE advised customers experiencing problems to try and delete and reinstall the app - but with limited Internet coverage on site and even more limited battery - it's a big ask.

EE has been contacted for comment.
