Glastonbury 2019: Line-up, set times, date, weather forecast, how to get there and everything you need to know

With already one festival out the way with for June, it's now onto the next.

Parklife took over Heaton Park in Manchester last weekend and now music lovers are looking forward to the UK's biggest festival which is now only a couple of weeks away.

Glastonbury festival is almost here with 200,000 people expected to make the trip this year.

For those lucky enough to land tickets, which sold out like hot cakes in just 36 minutes last October, we've tried to answer all the questions to help you plan better, especially if you're lugging a tent from Manchester .

Here's everything you need to know:

When is Glastonbury?

Will they be as festival fashion forward as Parklife goers? (Rowan Griffiths)

The festival takes place from Wednesday June 26 to Sunday June 30.

It takes place at the massive site on Worthy Farm, near to the town of Glastonbury, Somerset.

How do you get there?

You can get to the site via a number of different methods:

Train - Manchester Glasto-goers can get a long train to the festival's closest station, Castle Cary, and the cheapest tickets will now set you back around £80. You can then hop on the free shuttle bus from the station.

Coach - Although the train only has one stop, the six hour coach is direct to the festival, so it might be a good idea to travel with those solely travelling to visit the festival. Depending on which day you go, the cost of the coach is also around the £80 mark.

Bus -  If you find yourself in neighbouring Bristol or Bath, there are some bus services that will get you to the festival.

Car - It's probably a good idea to car share for Glastonbury as car park passes cost £45 in advance. From the North West, follow: M6, M5 to A39 (Junction 23) then A361. It'll be just a bit quicker than public transport as the journey is estimated to be 4.5-5 hours from Manchester.

What's the weather forecast?

Even though there's still two weeks to go, it may be as muddy as Parklife after the Met Office says "some showers and longer spells of rain" are expected in the areas surrounding the festival.

We will have a more thorough forecast closer to the time.

Who's on the Glastonbury line up?

Headliners include Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure.

George Ezra will also take the stage, along with Liam Gallager , Vampire Weekend, Tom Odell, Miley Cyrus and Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Other acts playing this year are Bastille, Janet Jackson, Hozier, Kylie, The Chemical Brothers, SNow Patrol, Wu Tang Clan and Janelle Monae.

You can see the stage splits and all the set times on the Glastonbury website HERE .

Hundreds of thousands of revellers will descend to Somerset when Glastonbury returns at the end of the month (PA)

When was the last Glastonbury festival?

The most recent festival was in 2017, and has since been under two years of fallowing, which was introduced to the land in 1981.

The process, which usually takes place every five years, gives the land, organisers and locals a well needed break from the festival.
