Glastonbury 2019: Emotional Kylie discusses battle with cancer during legends set

An emotional Kylie Minogue discussed her battle with cancer during her legends slot at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage.

The star had to pull out of her 2005 Glastonbury performance after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

This is the first time the singer has appeared at the festival in her 31-year-long career.

Addressing the enormous crowd on the verge of tears earlier this afternoon (June 30), she said: "In 2005 I was meant to be here. Circumstances meant that I did not make it.

"I wished things were different, but life is what it is. We are all together in this moment.

"This 30 plus years together, all of our individual stories and our collective stories."

"Well, I didn't cry too much - that's good," she then joked.

Chris Martin then joined the Australian singer on stage, after he performed a cover of one of Kylie's songs back in 2005.
