With Glastonbury starting in just two days time, we're getting a clearer picture of what the weather will look like - and it's set to be a scorcher.

The latest forecast provided by BBC weather is predicting mostly sunny conditions for the festival in Pilton, with highs of 28C expected on Friday (June 28).

A cloudy start on Wednesday (June 26) will be followed by two days of sunshine, according to the forecast.

The BBC's outlook for Wednesday to Friday said the weather will be mostly "dry and warm".

"Some further heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday, which will otherwise be very warm," it says.

"Rather breezy by Thursday, although it should remain dry and warm with some sunshine too. Remaining dry and warm on Friday."

It's a similar story for the Met Office's forecast, with plenty of sunshine and highs of 29C predicted for the festival.

According to the weather agency, the weather will be cloudy changing to sunny on Wednesday (June 26) - the first day of Glastonbury.
