Laura Mvula

Pyramid, 2pm
Catch her interview in our Glastonbury podcast today!

Elvis Costello

5.15pm, Pyramid
It is of course not credible that Elvis is 58: where exactly did all our youths go? And he's still burning with energy, having recently recorded an album with the Roots for release in the autumn. Today, though, except the stone cold classics.

Johnny Marr

John Peel stage, 6.15pm
Has played here before with some old man or other, looks like he's excited to be here again, having finally released his debut solo album. (Dave Simpson interviewed the great man about that.)

Major Lazer

West Holts, 8.45pm
Anyone partied previously with Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire? It is recommended.

Chase & Status

Other stage, 10.30pm
They've cleared an extra camping field to accommodate the expected crowd for the Rolling Stones, but for anyone on site wanting respite, the high energy of Chase & Status on the Other stage at the same time won't necessarily offer it. This is a good thing. They talked to Peter Robinson last week.

Fuck Buttons

The Park, 11pm
Arguably the most unlikely group to feature at the Olympic opening ceremony, also a good name to put at the top of any bill. 6Music on the wireless will be broadcasting their show.
