Glastonbury 2013 last-chance tickets sell out in hour

Glastonbury festival has officially sold out. The final batch, of tickets that had been cancelled, went on sale at 9am BST on Sunday, and sold out in just over an hour.

There are now no more places left to watch headline performances from the Rolling Stones, Mumford and Sons and Arctic Monkeys. It will be the first time the Stones have performed at the festival, despite the fact they have been rumoured to play for years. Other artists on the bill include Dizzee Rascal, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Portishead, Rokia Traoré, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Cat Power and Rita Ora.

With demand far outstripping supply, the festival apologised to everyone who failed to get a ticket. Festival organiser Emily Eavis asked people to email ticketing@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk with any feedback of the ticketing experience.

This year's Glastonbury will be the first Worthy Farm bash since 2011, when the festival decided to take a year off. This year's festival takes place from 28 to 30 June. The Guardian is the festival's official media partner.
