A Scottish holidaymaker has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being attacked with a glass by a tourist friend during a fight at a Magaluf nightspot.
The 22-year-old, named locally as Sarah Ann Garrity from Glasgow , is understood to be “critical” in intensive care after a life-saving op.
It's understood that her 19-year-old pal from London, has been arrested and was due to be questioned today by police before being handed over to a judge who will have to decide whether to release her on bail or remand her in custody.

The attack happened around 1am at Banana’s at the top of the popular Magaluf strip.
It's believed that Sarah Ann was born in Glasgow before moving to Middlesborough where she is a soldier.
Well-placed sources said it appeared the alleged attacker was a friend of the victim and they were on holiday together.
One said: “The girl who was injured suffered a cut to her throat. She was rushed to intensive care and had an emergency op.

“She’s still very serious but we’re hearing the operation has been successful and saved her life.
The alleged attacker is in police custody.”
It was not immediately clear if Sarah Ann was glassed with a broken bottle or was hurt when the glass was thrown at her.
She was admitted to Son Espases Hospital in the Majorcan capital Palma.
