She said she wished to "show my support and respect" to the man, who said he wished to attend the funeral of the deceased.

She wrote: "Hi I’m trying to trace a gentleman called Stuart Stevenson as he found my partner dead on the Clyde walkway near the Celtic supporters club on August 1.

"He wanted to attend the funeral but the police only gave us a name and no way to contact him. I want to show my support and respect to him given the circumstances."
