A popular second-hand clothes shop in the west end has closed its doors for a final time after over three decades in business.
Glorious clothing on Great Western Road sold its last ever item of clothing on Saturday.
The shop's owners celebrated their retirement with balloons and bunting as the Glorious era came to an end.
The business, specialising in used and vintage clothes, opened back in 1988 as The Glory Hole at the Virginia Galleries before moving to Ruthven Lane. Their final shop on Great Western Road was a popular fixture in the west end.
Glorious said its final farewell to customers on social media, posting: "Well that’s the shop closed.
"Our first sale was a vintage fifties dress in The Virginia Galleries in 1988. Our last sale on Saturday was an American Apparel black string vest."
Before signing off saying: "It's been Glorious."
Customers were quick to wish owners a happy retirement.
One local wrote: "Sad to see you go. Have loved popping in to both your shops over the years. No one to replace the choice and quality! Good luck in your retirement. Shall miss you."
Another added: "I'll miss your lovely shop! Saturdays up Kelvinbridge won't be the same without popping in for some lovely pieces and a wee Northern Soul dance with Lindsay! All the best for your next chapter."
One regular added: "’ll miss you guys and my glorious wardrobe! Thank you for an amazing place and my hidden gem."
Wishing everyone at Glorious a very happy retirement!
