Glasgow west end: New cafe and restaurant plan for Hyndland Street

A proposal has been put forward for a new restaurant and cafe on Hyndland Street in Glasgow's west end.

An application has been made by KJM Development Ltd to convert the premises at 61-63 Hyndland Street into a licensed eatery.

The potential new food spot would have space for 24 covers indoors, while it's proposed there's also an external seating area with a canopy.

The unit, located next to My Home Bakery on the junction of Chancellor Street, is well known to local residents as the home of picture framing shop Allander Framing.

Suggested operating hours would be 8am - 11pm.

Further details about the potential occupier of the cafe are undisclosed at this time.

The application is currently being considered by Glasgow City Council planners.
