The Met Office has updated its weather forecast for Glasgow this weekend and temperatures in the city are now expected to rise even further.
According to the forecaster, Saturday will be "unseasonably warm" with "temperatures several degrees higher than normal for this time of year".
Following a warm morning, the mercury will continue to climb throughout the afternoon and will eventually peak around 3pm at 16 degrees Celsius — higher than the Met Office's previous prediction of 15C.

As previously forecast, skies will be clear and sunny throughout the entire day, with a moderate UV index according to the Met Office.
This means that those looking to head out and enjoy the sunshine should wear protection such as sunscreen.
Things will gradually cool down after 4pm, but temperatures will still remain above 10C until 8pm.
After this, it will be a cool night in Glasgow — eventually reaching lows of 3C at 5am on Sunday.
The city will warm up quickly though, and by mid-morning temperatures will be approaching 10C again.
While Sunday is set to be a cooler one that Saturday — with peaks of 11 C — it will nonetheless be another bright and sunny day, with another moderate UV index expected at midday.
Following an even chillier nights in which lows of 1C are forecast, next week looks to get off to a bright start.
Whilst clouds are expected in the city, temperatures will remain around 10C.
Tuesday and Wednesday look even more positive, with clear skies and highs of 15C and 16C respectively.
