Glasgow weather: TRNSMT final day to be sunny with 18 degree highs and some showers

If you're heading to TRNSMT today, we suggest you take your sunglasses as well as a waterproofs.

In what is a very Glaswegian turn of events, when it hits the highest temperature today there will also be the highest chance of rain.

The Met Office is predicting that most places will have a dry and bright day with sunny spells and a few light afternoon showers.

Today will see highs of 16 degrees from 1pm, with a 50% chance of rain at 2pm. While it's to get drier after this, it'll stay at the same temperature until 7pm when it'll reach 15 degrees.

After 7pm and later into the evening the temperature will continue to to decline to 13 degrees, while clouds remain. It's set to get dark from 8pm.

It's then to be mostly dry on Monday with some sunshine, and then to get cloudy on Tuesday with scattered showers edging up from down south.

On Wednesday, it'll get a bit brighter with highs of 18 degrees all week.
