The moment lightning struck Glasgow amid a dramatic thunderstorm has been captured on video.
Footage shows the fork lightning hitting the city with Glasgow having been under a Met Office weather warning in recent days.
The extreme weather has continued this evening with several parts of the city flooded amid the torrential downpours brought by the storms.

This has led to the closure of roads and the suspension of rail services across Glasgow, while a number of businesses have been forced to close early after being inundated with rainwater.
The weather is set to ease up somewhat in the coming hours, however parts of Lanarkshire remain under a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms until 11pm.
And Twitter user @ChaosWraith25 caught the moment a lightning bolt struck near the River Clyde on camera earlier this evening.
Their video shows the lightning crash down through the gloomy sky above a row of high-rise tower flats, making for some spectacular footage.
They told Glasgow Live: "I filmed it from my flat in Blairdardie overlooking Knightswood golf course, looking towards the south side.
"Honestly, because of the mist I'm not sure, but I suspect it possibly hit somewhere between the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the Clyde, possibly at the shipyard - there is a lot of metal there, so it's like a magnet for lightning I guess."
