Flood warnings have been issued to parts of the UK while the Met Office warn that there could be chances of sleet around Glasgow.
Glasgow is forecasted to bit hit with showers for the remainder of the day while Ayr to Troon have been issued with a flood warning by SEPA.
Heavy rain is expected to fall from 6pm today after a day of showers and while they will ease for a couple of hours by 8pm to lighter showers, by 10pm the rain will become more forceful once more.

As temperatures drop to 4C through the middle of the night, the weather forecasters warn of chances of sleet.
For today, the Met Office says: "Rather cloudy with scattered showers or longer spells of rain. These will be heaviest and most frequent in the afternoon. Moderate westerly or southwesterly winds, strengthening along the west coast later. Maximum temperature 9 °C."
While tonight they expect temperatures to drop and add: "Showers or longer spells of rain continuing through the evening. Turning colder by the end of the night, with rain or sleet in east. Becoming windy, with gales across Ayrshire. Minimum temperature 0 °C."
On Thursday morning, Glasgow residents will wake up with a chilly start with temperatures only reaching 4C until 10am when it reaches to 5C and then 6C by noon.
"Cold with early rain or sleet clearing to bright spells and a few showers. Brisk northerly or northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C", the Met Office says.
