Glasgow weather: heatwave evaporates as Scotland gets ready for first Euro 2020 match

We hope every one of our readers enjoyed their weekend in the fabulous heat!

In typical Glasgow fashion, the good weather isn't to last for Scotland's first Euro 2020 match. However, it might be cloudy on Monday but it isn't meant to rain!

So, if you're heading out to catch a game - maybe at the Euro 2020 Fan Zone? - pack your brolly and maybe a wee mac - AND the suncream.

We aren't saying that you'll be needing it... but it is Glasgow, so you could need it at any given moment!

Monday:

Many places will be staying dry, but a few light showers brought on fresh westerly winds, chiefly across Argyll. It's going to be feeling somewhat cooler and fresher than yesterday. The maximum temperature will be 17C.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be mainly dry and bright, with a maximum temperature of 17 degrees.

Wednesday

Rain spreading to west late in day and overnight, before clearing on Wednesday morning. We can anticipate highs of 16 degrees, luckily, no rain!

Thursday

Thursday will see highs of 16 degrees and clouds but again... no rain!

Friday

Friday will be a bit chillier than before, with highs of 16 degrees. It isn't meant to rain, but there is a big dark grey cloud predicted for around 4pm...
