Glasgow weather forecast for week ahead as temperatures set to dip close to freezing

Winter looks set to creep up on us this week with forecasters predicting temperatures could fall to just 1C in Glasgow.

However, the Met Office suggest it could feel as chilly as -1C as a cold snap takes hold of Scotland later in the week.

After a rainy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, crisp, dry days on Thursday and Friday are going to bring the colder temperatures at night time.

Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, at 9am, it will feel like -1C in Glasgow streets according to the Met Office, with a similarly chilly start expected on Friday.

However, with the rain returning across next weekend, the temperatures will rise somewhat, only to a maximum of 8C however as winter starts to truly take a grip of our city.

But, until the frost potentially sets in in Glasgow on Thursday, we've got three days of heavy rain in store, starting today.
