Glasgow weather forecast for next week predicts rise in temperature and 20 degree highs

Things will be hotting up in Glasgow over the next week.

Weather forecasters are predicting rising temperatures across the city and surrounding areas, with next Tuesday set to be a scorcher ( of taps aff proportions).

Experts from the Met Office say we can expect the coming couple of days to be as chilly as the last few, with scattered showers and overnight frost.

Temperatures will hover around 10C on Thursday and Friday, before the warmer spell starts from Saturday, with Sunday set to be around 14C.

A Met Office forecast for next week reads: "High pressure looks set to remain across the UK next week, which will bring plenty of fine, dry and settled weather, with increasing amounts of sunshine."

Monday is expected to see average temperatures of around 17C and come Monday... it's Taps aff, Glasgow!! We could be experiencing conditions of around 20C, which could stick around until the following Friday, but we'll keep you posted.
