Glasgow weather for week ahead with heavy rain due today

It's set to be a wet start to the week in Glasgow with forecasters predicting heavy rain showers today.

It's due to rain for much of Monday, before drying up at around 9pm this evening.

However, things are set to improve on Tuesday, until the evening when further showers are predicted.

Yet, Wednesday and Thursday are forecast to be relatively sunny days, albeit both a little cooler and more windy, with top temperatures of 15C.

However, the rain is set to return on Friday, along with some strong winds, before another mixed day of weather next Saturday.

Despite the anticipated downpours today, as it stands, the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) haven't issued any flood alerts, as was the case a number of times at the end of August.
