Snow is set to fall in Glasgow across a significant part of the day on Friday, and a yellow weather warning for ice has been issued.
Thursday looks to be a predominantly mild day in the city, with temperatures peaking at 10 degrees Celsius for much of the afternoon.
It will be an overcast day, however, and at around 5pm light and then heavy showers are set to strike Glasgow.

The rain will clear up overnight, but temperatures will also plummet to near-freezing.
At around 2am, the Met Office forecasts "light snow showers" in the city — a sign of things to come on Friday.
From midnight up until 11am on Friday morning, there is a yellow weather warning for ice in place in Glasgow.
The Met Office said: "Icy patches are likely especially on untreated surfaces, leading to tricky travel conditions in places".
Starting at 5am, snow showers are set to return amid temperatures of around 2C.
After this, at 8am, the snow will briefly turn to sleet before the snow returns again at 10am.

The remainder of the morning and early afternoon will see light rain showers and brief sunny spells as Glasgow warms up to 3C.
At 6pm, however, the Met Office predicts that the snow will return — where it will remain for much of the remainder of the evening.
After midnight, the city will begin to warm up and the snow will turn to heavy rain that will stick around for the majority of Saturday.
