Glasgow is set to bask in glorious sunshine on Sunday as forecasters predict the UK could see 'the hottest day of the year so far'.
Temperatures are set to reach a balmy 23C in Glasgow, with cloud changing to sun and clear skies by lunchtime.
And it'll be a warm day across the Central Belt southwards with sunny spells increasing - and don't forget to slap the factor 50 as UV rays will be high.
The cloud is expected to clear around 10 am, making way for sunshine from 11 am when temperatures will start to climb to 20C.
The best of the weather is likely to be between 2pm and 5pm, with temperatures in the mid 20s and wall-to-wall sun - ideal barbecue or beer garden weather.
Glasgow has enjoyed a glorious June weather-wise so far, following a rainy and miserable May, however, the warm weather won't continue into the week.
The Met Office says it will be largely cloudy with showers as temperatures are set to dip to a high of 15C from Monday (13 June) with lows of 8C.
The long-range weather forecast looks more positive, however, with experts predicting a "very warm" spell between 17 June - 26 June - great news for anyone with staycation plans.
Temperatures across the UK will soar on Sunday, with some places seeing highs of 29C. Forecasters reckon it could even end up being the warmest June 13 on record.
Parts of the UK could be warmer than destinations such as Ibiza, Mykonos, and California as high pressure moves in from the south.
The hottest temperature recorded in the UK so far this year was 28.3C in northwest London on June 2.
