Glasgow weather: Exact date snow will return in February as temperatures set to drop

Following what is expected to be a mild and wet start to February in Glasgow, temperatures are set to drop later in the month.

Forecasters have also predicted that wintery conditions and snow will return to the city.

According to AccuWeather, Glasgow will see snow on February 13.

Over the next week, temperatures in the city will continue to hover around 10 degrees Celsius.

After what is forecast to be a predominantly dry day on Tuesday, much of the remainder of the week will see significant rainfall.

From Wednesday through to next Monday, wet and mild weather is expected in Glasgow.

After this, however, things are set to turn significantly colder.

On February 12, Accuweather predicts lows of 2C overnight and temperatures will reportedly hit freezing the following day.

The weather service states that on February 13, Glasgow will see "a mix of snow and rain in the morning followed by a thunderstorm around in the afternoon".

After that, the next few days will be slightly warmer in the city — though temperatures will still hover around 5C.

Another "bit of snow" is then predicted again on February 23 amid "considerable cloudiness".
