Glasgow weather Christmas Day: No snow forecast but wintry conditions on December 25

For those of you dreaming of a white Christmas, sadly it looks like you might have to wait for another year.

With just four days to go until the big day, weather forecasters have made their predictions and it doesn't look like Santa and his reindeer will be dashing through the snow in 2020.

However, according to the latest predictions, we might just get the next best thing, with Glasgow set to enjoy a chilly, but dry and wintry Christmas Day.

The Met Office forecast that after a sunny Christmas Eve, temperatures will dip to as low as 1C overnight into the 25th.

And as we draw open the curtains on Christmas Day, thankfully we won't be greeted by rain, but a dry and crisp morning, with conditions expected to remain much the same until the evening. The temperature is set to peak at just 6C too, so make sure you wrap up warm if you're going out and about for a walk to try and burn off that turkey.

It's predicted it may get a little bit wet later on however, with a 40% chance of rain from 9pm.

On Boxing Day - as we're greeted by another level 4 lockdown in our city - we'll also be met by grey skies too, with rain set to fall throughout the day.
