The Met Office has issued an update on the city's pollen warning amid rising temperatures which will see highs of 18C across the city.
Yesterday (April 19) saw weather forecasters predict only a 'moderate' level until Friday for those living in Glasgow and the surrounding area - however this has since been upgraded.
As a result, the pollen warning now stands at the 'high' level.

In total there are five pollen levels according to the Met Office and in order this includes: no significant pollen, low, moderate, high and very high.
Both today (April 20) and tomorrow will see the 'high' level remain where the pollen warning will later be reduced to 'moderate' on Friday and Saturday.
It will then increase to 'high' yet again on Sunday (April 24) and later downgraded to 'moderate' again from Monday.
Tree pollen currently in the Strathclyde area - covering Glasgow- includes ash and birch whilst the spores include pleospora.

Today:
It will be mainly dry and bright with sunny spells, any patch mist and fog soon clearing. However, a few well scattered showers likely in the afternoon. Feeling warm in the sunshine, light or moderate east or southeast winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight
Dry with mainly well broken cloud, clear skies at times and chilly again by dawn. However, some patchy low cloud and mist could form through the Central Belt by dawn. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Thursday
Any low cloud and mist through the Central Belt clearing in the morning. Otherwise dry and bright with sunny spells. Warmest around the west coast. Moderate or fresh easterly winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Mostly dry with brisk easterly winds, best of the sunshine around the west coast. Occasional low cloud and mist through the Central Belt overnight. Patchy rain possible over the weekend.
