A Glasgow venue has been named one of the most popular destinations for weddings in 2023.
The Engine Works in the north of the city has been listed as one of ten destinations across Scotland that are proving to be the most popular among couples.
Wedding experts Hitched looked at more than 2,200 venues listed in their user database to understand which ones have had the most booking enquiries from nearlyweds.

The Engine Works came in at number five, with its exposed red brick walls, cast iron columns and original baulk timbers proving popular with couples looks for a venue with an interesting history.
The venue, which dates back to 1837, was built by William Walls with a crane engineered by Sir Henry Royce but was left to fall into disrepair until it was bought by a Glasgow couple in 2015.
Michael McDonagh and Adele Gahagan bought the with a vision to create a legacy for their children and the Maryhill community. In the years since, they have transformed it into an industrial oasis operating as a multifunctional arts and events space.
Although the city isn't short of beautiful wedding venues, The Engine Works is the only Glasgow location to feature on the list behind Dunskey Estate, Dalhousie Castle, Neidpath Castle and Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf.
