Glasgow unites for Ukraine as city groups and businesses rally to offer support

People and businesses across Glasgow are rallying together to offer help and support those affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

We reported yesterday how members of the city's Polish community are organising a van that will take clothing and essential supplies to Poland to help Ukrainian refugees arriving in the country.

The move has spurred others into action to offer their services as drop-off points for donations, which will be sent on to Ukrainian refugees fleeing their homeland amid the invasion.

Others are also doing their bit by launching fundraisers and organising their own events to help raise cash and emergency aid that will go towards supporting those in need.
